Description
===========
This mod adds 8 new hairstyles to the stock human-faced races. Adventure in Style!

Details
=======
These styles are rich in form and function! All the hairstyles are colorable, and most can have their Length/Shape altered! Minimal alpha errors (see issues & bugs). Eternal Life of UNFATHOMABLE lengh! Attract a mate fast with a sexy new hairdo today!

These are the 8 styles included in this hairpack:

Beaten, not stirred
Beaten, not stirred (no headband)
Wave to the crowd!
Fetching Hermit
La La La I can't hear you!
Short and sweet
What's your birthsign?
Short stacked

To easily change the hairstyle of an existing character, make a backup save first. Open the console using ~ key, and type Showracemenu to open the character editor, where you can change the visual aspects of your character. Rather than hitting 'Done' when finished, Save to a new savegame, quit the game entirely, and load this new savegame when you load the game up next. This is the best method that I know of to change your looks without resetting your stats and level.

Install
=======
1. Extract the files to a temporary location.
2. Examine the folder structure and make corrections where necessary.
3. Copy files to (install folder)\Oblivion\Data\
4. Start Oblivion Launcher, click 'Data Files', place a checkmark beside the .esp file(s).

People using custom races will need to add my hairstyles to their own mods, as I cannot account for all the custom/personal blends available. Please see the CS wiki for help on how to do this. Also, you can use NifSkope to see which texture each style uses.

Incompatibility
===============
As I understand, most race mods are incompatable. If you are using a mod that alters the way races look, add hair or eyes to, they will need to be merged with this mod for your game to show the changes from all of them. Wrye Bash has features to do this, please see the documentation for it on how to accomplish this.

Known Issues or Bugs
====================
These styles were intended for Oblivions stock human head and derivatives of it. As such, they won't work well for beast races. I've worked very hard at minimizing alpha-draw issues with the meshes, but this isn't always possible with certain arrangements, or any mistakes that I may have missed. These errors make portions of the hair invisible when viewed from certain angles. Similarily, alpha-drawing problems like this may extend to clothes, armor, and sometimes large weapons, if those objects also use alpha blending to achieve their looks; I have no control over how Oblivion handles these relationships, sorry!

Also, longer styles _will_ clip with the shoulders and neck in some poses, and the bigger armor you are wearing, the more clipping there will be. This can only be fixed by making the hair wearable as 'wigs' and rigging the meshes, which loses the ability to choose color or length of hair.

History
=======
v1.2 12.24.07 - Corrected AlphaProperty values to avoid rendering issues. (oops)
v1.1 xx.xx.xx - Made "La La La I can't Hear You" style playable.
1.0, 9.18.07 - Initial release. woot.

Contact
=======
Look me up at the Bethesda Game Studios Forums, I'm throttlekitty there.

I'm doing more hairstyles too! If you have a request, feel free to drop me a private message with a description and pictures! I don't do heavily stylized anime hair, however.
